For nearly 5 weeks now I have been battling the ‘morning sickness’ beast, although for me it is more like late-afternoon-and-night-sickness. I can’t stand the smell of cooking and can't even enjoy drinking a nice glass of cold milk. I spend most of the day sleeping cos this is the only time I don't feel sick. The only other time I feel OK is when I'm eating.
After trying everything from ginger tea to motion sickness wristbands I have finally found something that works for me. I am eating drying crackers, cheesesticks and drinking iced water with additional ice cubes and a couple of tablespoons of fresh lemon juice. Just before lying down I am also sucking on a slice of lemon.

Funny how something as simple as lemons can be such a life saviour :)
